LGBTQ+ in Japan — Interview with Dr. Eriko Yoshida

Dr. Eriko Yoshida (she/her), 吉田絵理子先生, is a doctor at Kawasaki Kyodo Hospital in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Yoshida’s sexuality is bisexual and her gender identity is non-binary, more commonly known as Xジェンダー (X-gender) in Japan. WISJ had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Yoshida about her journey as an LGBTQ+ person in medicine and how her identity has shaped her career.
